Maurizio Gavazzi’s research constitutes a substantial contribution to the realm of new material ecology and immaterial concepts, as well as to novel forms of philosophy and lifestyles. The methods employed are nothing short of remarkable and involve ritual repetitions, the element of time, the phenomenon of light, and the auditory and olfactory dimensions. These elements evolve in a manner that is perpetually subject to the viewer’s perception, unencumbered by the constraints imposed by the pre-programmed limits of media expression, thereby generating potential new languages.
